Pay a $12 fee to subsidise the cost of sending a box of items, they're listed for 6-8 weeks (first 4 weeks at full price, final 2 weeks oat 30% off sale). The box must be ready within 7 days & we organise pick up from your house (even if you're rural!)

If you choose 'Mini' Sell With Us option your items will be listed all in one go in a 'Mini Drop' and be live for 4 weeks only. More detail near the bottom of the page.

There are NO refunds on the Sell With Us service so please ensure you are prepared with your items & have read all of the detail before purchasing.

We have 2 payment options

1. Bank Transfer:
• 50% for EUC/like new/BNWT items.
• 30% for VGUC/GUC items (with flaws).
Payout: Bank transfer every Monday.

2. Store Credit:
• 70% for EUC/like new/BNWT items.
• 50% for VGUC/GUC items.
Payout: Thrifting Den gift card issued weekly for sales.. Unused balance rolls over and is valid for 12 months.

Restock is the 1st of every month at 8PM

- Have at least 15 "YES" branded items (this does not include any "MAYBE" branded items that may be accepted)
- for Mini Sell With Us you only need 7 "YES" branded items
- For a Ladies/Maternity you only need 7 of the accepted brand items (as these are bigger and take up a lot more room in a box)

- Have your items freshly washed (incl. items that have been in storage) and if sending footwear make sure soles are scrubbed to get rid of any loose dirt

- Items must be EUC, like new or BNWT - click here to see our condition definitions

You can leave that one up to us!

Many things go into pricing an item. RRP, condition, brand, size, current market resell value and more.

Prices are decided to ensure you get a good return for your items but also making sure the price is fair & competitive for the customer.

Please note this service is not a money making service and is more a service directed at busy parents who do not have the time to on-sell their mini's clothing.

Please select the size range that matches most of the items you’re sending.

For example, if you have 25 newborn items and 10 for 2-year-olds, select the “New Baby (newborn up to 6 months)” pack.

We can only arrange for courier pick up of items within NZ and due to logistics and cost of shipping, we can't subsidise trans-tasman shipping.

However if you'd like to send your items over at your own cost, please reach out for details & we can arrange.

If your item is a "YES" branded item, it doesn't matter what season it is as it will be automatically accepted!

Please note however that a puffer jacket is less likely to sell in mid summer vs the start of winter and pricing of items will reflect that, however a lot of customers do buy ahead for next seasons!

Any "MAYBE" branded items that are out of season are likely to not be accepted.

It's fine to add any size range to a box if you have room, however the majority (at least 60%) of items you send must be from the size range you purchased.

So if you purchased a Ladies/Maternity box you must have at least 60% of the items in the box being Ladieswear and not baby/kids sizes (60% of units - not space taken up in the box)

If you have LOADS of Ladies/Maternity to send and it won't all fit inside one box, you're welcome to send more at your own cost.

Any items remaining at the end of your consigment you will have the choice to...
- have them sent back to you at your cost
- have them sold as Seconds/Dead Stock in our Sunday Seconds Sale with 100% of the proceeds being donated to Nurturing Families or donated directly to Nurturing Families if EUC/BNWT
- have them purchased via our Closet Cashout service

In some circumstances some items may not be accepted, this can be due to condition (a missed hole for example) or accidentally adding in unaccepted items like "NO" brands, or "MAYBE" brands that didn't get approval before sending.

You will be given the choice to have the item(s) sent back to you however postage will be at your cost. Or potentially have the items donated to Nurturing Families or put into the Sunday Seconds Sale (depends on condition of the item).

We only accept clothing and footwear.

Refer to the table below for accepted brands (“YES”), brands requiring photo approval (“MAYBE”), and unaccepted brands (“NO”).

Be sure to review the ‘exceptions’ list at the top of the brand table.

For unlisted brands, send photos via email or Instagram after securing a Sell With Us spot. If approved, these count as “MAYBE” items and do not count towards the 15 minimum “YES” branded items.

Please note: “MAYBE” items are not reviewed until you secure a Sell With Us spot, so please do not send through photos prior to this.

Instagram preferred but email is also suitable.

But please do not send through any photos for approval until after you have secured a Sell With Us spot and not before hand. And reminder any "MAYBE" branded items that might be accepted, will not count towards the minimum of 15 "YES" branded items.

No - You are welcome to use any box you have as long as it is no larger than a Huggies 72 pack nappy box. Or does not have a volume greater than 28,000cm3 (to work out volume of box, multiply width by height by length)

Yes you can add on more by either purchasing another Sell With Us spot of the appropriate size range if they are available or you're also welcome to send your items straight to us yourself.

CHANGE OF MIND: Refunds are not available on any of our services, please ensure you only purchase once you have read through the detail thoroughly and understand how everything works & have your items ready to go by the 7 day deadline.

BNWT ITEMS: Do not reattach tags to items that have been worn or washed. Passing off used items as new is fraudulent and will result in your consignment being cancelled.

CANCELLING YOUR CONSIGNMENT: If you cancel early, return shipping is at your cost, plus a $1 admin fee per listed item & a $10 admin fee.

RIGHT TO CANCELLATION: The Thrifting Den reserves the right to cancel your consignment at any time. If this occurs, your items will be returned at our cost, and you’ll be informed of the reason.

* NO hats, socks, headbands, bows, beanies, booties etc unless they are part of a matching outfit
* Jamie Kay is a NO LONGER ACCEPTED. If you have a lot of Jamie Kay to clear please check out our Closet Cashout service.
* NO merino of any brand (wrong season), check out our Closet Cashout service if you want to clear merino.
* NO bloomers of any brand (even if it is a YES brand and/or BNWT) unless they are part of a complete outfit (ie dress & bloomers same size & condition)
* Bonds ONLY accepting Wondersuits - any other Bonds items are ‘MAYBE’ and require photo
* Any sleepwear MUST have the neck fire label still attached (red or white fire warning)

IMPORTANT - exclusion to the below list is any underwear ie nursing bras. Must be clothing only.

As long as it is a brand listed below it does not have to specifcally nursing/maternity clothing, ie it can be a non breastfeeding dress
