With over 3000 weekly site visits and a large and extremely active customer base of second hand loving parents, your items will sell with ease at The Thrifting Den.
Everything from photographing, listing, packaging and sending of your items is done at our end - all you have to do is sit back and wait for the earnings from your items to come in!

How does it work?
β€· You can purchase a Sell With Us pack here(there is an initial non-refundable cost of $10 to cover the courier of your box of items).
β€· Once you have completed your purchase you will receive an email to go through some of the detail and organise your packaged goodies to be picked up by the courier.
β€· Once they are received they will be photographed and listed on the website (drops + general listings)
β€· Every week you will receive an email summary & confirmation of payment from your items previous weeks sales
β€· Any of your items that haven't sold after the 6 week timeframe are sent back to you at no cost (we will cover the courier fee to send items back) or you have the option of them being donated to the local op shop

FAQ's
There are 2 options to choose from for payment that are to be decided before your items are sent (we will be unable to change once we start to list your items)
OPTION 1 BANK TRANSFER - 50% for EUC/Like New/BNWT items - 30% for VGUC/GUC items (any items with marks or wash fade or brushing or holes)
When your items sell you will get 50% of the sale of those items via bank transfer each week. So for example if an item has sold for $20, you would make $10 from that sale. -- For items that do not meet the conditions of EUC or better you will only receive 30% of the sale price.
Option 2 - Store Credit (70%) - 70% for EUC/Like New/BNWT items - 50% for VGUC/GUC items (any items with marks or wash fade or brushing or holes)
When your items sell you will get 70% of the sale of those items via a Thrifting Den Gift Card each week. If you have not spent the previous weeks gift card, or have value remaining, this will be added onto your following weeks amount and so forth until the end of the 6 week term. So for example if an item sold for $20, you would make $14 from that sale. Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, cannot be split and cannot be exchanged for cash. -- For items that do not meet the conditions of EUC or better you will only receive 50% of the sale price
Every week you will receive an email containing a summary of sales, with the funds being transferred to you/gift card issued that day & proof of transfer/email of gift card sent through.
Minimum is 15 YES brand items (see below table for what counts as a YES brand), there is no maximum amount of items you can send, however the $10 fee is to cover the sending of 1x box no larger than 45cm x 25cm x 25cm or equivalent volume. If you need to send more items you will be invoiced for an additional $10 (or happy for you to post yourself at your own cost if you can send cheaper with a service like PTP)
If you have bulk (20+ items) in the following brands (singular brand - not across all of the ones listed) please contact us via Instagram or live chat here as it is possible we can slot you in, even if packs are sold out. These are due to the below being significantly popular brands.

Yes there are 2 ways to do this!
You can organise to get your items picked up at a friend/family member/workplace that is Urban.
OR you can post the items at your own expense (and be refunded the $10 initial fee)
You can leave that one up to us! Many things go into pricing an item. RRP, condition, brand, size, current market resell prices and more. Prices are decided to ensure you get a good return for your item but also making sure the price is fair & competitive for the customer.
If you have a particular item(s) you would like to try and get a set price for, we can discuss before you send your items.
Please select the pack Size Range that reflects the majority size of items you are sending.
You are more than welcome to send other sizes as long as they meet the criteria.
For example if you have 25x size newborn items to send and 10x size 2 items, please select the Newborn up to 1 year pack as this size range is the majority
It will take anywhere between 1 - 4 weeks for your items to start to be listed onto the website.
The usual turn around time is between 1 - 2 weeks however please note it can be up to 4 weeks at a maximum. Please also note sometimes I will save your items/some of your items for upcoming drops where the items may fit well into that drop. So there could also be a potential for your item listings to be split over 2 weeks. Timelines and drop/listing plans will be communicated to you after you purchase a Sell With Us Pack - if you're items are being split over a 2 week period, your selling timeframe will be extended from 6 weeks to 7 weeks
Any items that haven't sold after 28 days of being listed will be marked down to 30% off and put into the sale section of the website. After another 2 weeks have passed, if the item(s) has not sold, they will be sent back to you at no extra cost (we will cover courier cost for returning items) or they can be donated to the local op shop.
Item's must be brand new (with or without tag), like new condition (washed and worn once or twice but still look pretty much new) or EUC (have been washed and worn but minimal signs of wear). Items must have no marks or holes, this includes but is not limited to light staining, small holes, stitching coming away causing a hole etc. Items also must have no to minimal wash fade. Items that don't meet these conditions will not be accepted, or as per the above under "How much will I be paid and when?", will be listed at a lower consigment pay out rate.
YES brand footwear must have minimal to no marks and no dirt on soles.
All items MUST be freshly washed before sending (excl. BNWT items)
See the table below for a list of brands that are accepted (YES), a list or brands that might be accepted but require photos to be sent through first (MAYBE) and a list of brands not accepted (NO). If you have brands that are not on the list please message them through with photos and we will let you know if they are accepted or not.
If your item is one of the "YES" brands below, it doesn't matter what the item is - it will be automatically accepted. Please note however that a puffer jacket is likely to not sell as well in mid summer so any really out of season items you are probably best to hold on to.
Any "MAYBE" branded items that are out of season will most probably end up being rejected as chances are they will not sell.
Box must be ready to go within 1 week of purchasing a Sell With Us pack. This is to ensure future restocks of the pack aren't delayed while we await your package.
Best bet would be to go through all of your items and organise them all prior to purchasing - so they are ready to go ASAP.
YES
Any brands listed under YES are automatically accepted and do no require photos to be sent. Please ensure they are at least EUC quality (no marks or holes - minimal signs of wear)
MAYBE
Any brands listed under MAYBE require photos to be sent through before sending the items. Please note a lot of MAYBE brand items are likely to be declined
NO
Any brands listed under NO cannot be sent
Currently accepting ALL BNWT/Like New/EUC merino clothing regardless of brand(excl. accessories socks/beanies)
Currently NOT accepting - swimwear unless it is a 'yes' brand and BNWT - head accessories (head bands, bows, hats) unless they match back to an outfit - socks & tights unless a 'yes' brand and BNWT
